lauren Ornelas is founder and executive director of Food Empowerment Project, an organization that aims to create a more just and sustainable world by questioning our food choices. lauren has been active in the animal rights movement for more than 30 years and shares her knowledge about how to start educating yourself about the impact of your food choices as well as how to face the overwhelming truth of how our food affects humans and animals alike. She also shares about the issues: environmental racism, child labor, slavery, and poor conditions for produce and factory farm workers.
